“Titchner has taken the long way around to get where he is now but the wait was worth it… [a] top shelf folkie find.”

– Chris Spector, Midwest Record

Chris Titchner breaks too many years of recording silence with the career defining Already Gone. Produced with Chris Rosser, Already Gone features 13 new songs ranging in style from folk to pop, Americana to New Orleans jazz. His strongest, most mature work, Titchner approaches his subjects with more nuanced perspectives and sensitivity. Like a novelist, Titchner creates compelling, but problematic narrators that seem a little sketchy, such as the Devil, and vivid characters like a super villain factually described by his high school girlfriend. The set has already won accolades. In December 2019, “It’s All on You (You’ve Ruined Everything)” and “Must Be the Devil,” received Honorable Mention in the 36th Mid-Atlantic Song Contest.
